Official opening ceremony of the new building of the Institute of Physics will take place on 25. August 2014.

13.00–14.00 Professor Jaak Kikas from the University of Tartu, professor Mika Valden from Tampere University and professor Nils Mårtensson from Uppsala University)introduce the activities of the Institute of Physics.
14.00–15.30 Business seminar “Out of the lab”. Scientists from Tartu University will help find solutions to barriers which prevent businesses from developing.

16.00–17.00 Official opening of PHYSICUM – Tartu University’s Institute of Physics’ study and research facility
